Elder/Deacon Nomination —The process of nominating Elders and Deacons has begun.  Each member of Faith Reformed Church is to participate by self-examination.  Prayerfully consider if you would be willing and able to serve on the consistory.  Consider first God’s Word:  Would there be anything biblically which would keep you from serving?  Then ask yourself about your current relationship with God, your spiritual gifts, your love for Christ’s body (the church) and your availability.  If following your self-examination you must excuse yourself from being on an available and willing list, please let Pastor Earl, an elder or the church office know in writing (so we will not miss someone’s request).  Deadline is September 28^th.  Nomination ballots will come out in mid-October.  *Each year a new request must be made to take your name off of an available and willing nomination list.

Mark Your Calendars for the Faith Fall Festival on Saturday, October 4.  Fall Fest is just 2 weeks away and it’s an evening for the whole family.  There will be a supper, silent and live auction and activities for the kids.  In order to make the day a success we need your assistance.  There are sign-up sheets for the auction items on the back table.  We also need volunteers to help with the children’s activities, supper, and making bars.  Here is a good way for the middle and high school kids to help.  There are also sign up sheets for helping that night on the table.
