Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it
Bible Studies
We have several Bible studies organized through our church. We have ladies' Bible studies, a parents' Bible study and a Sunday night Bible study. If you would like to join one, or are a congregation member and would like to start a Bible Study, please give Tom Davila a call at the church (920-668-6725) so he can hook you up!
Sunday School
After the morning service each Sunday (around 10:15) we have a variety of different ways to learn and grow. Our children ages 3-5 learn from the Bible using David C. Cook’s Bible in Life curriculum. They sing together, have a Bible Story and do crafts that reinforce the story. Our classes for Kindergarten through 8th Grade use the Walk With Me curriculum published through Faith Alive Resources. Walk With Me is written and taught to incorporate an understanding of the Christian Faith from a reformed perspective, which stresses things like God’s sovereignty and his covenant with His people.
We also offer classes for High School through Adult. The Freshman and Sophomores go through a class called Questions Worth Asking, which is a fresh look at the Heidelberg Catechism. This class gives them a good understanding of Reformed Theology and opportunities to apply it. Juniors and Seniors have a Bible Introduction course, which strives to give them a deeper knowledge of each book of the Bible and how they all fit together in the scope of biblical history. For adults, we have a class that meets weekly, studying the Bible using the Sunday School Guide curriculum. From time to time we also offer special adult classes to help us put God’s word into practice. You are encouraged to join us!
Women of Faith
The mission of the Women of Faith group is to glorify God, devote themselves to Jesus Christ, disciple one another in love, and develop a responsibility for mission through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month (except for summer) for devotions, fellowship and other activities.
Some of the ministries of this group include
Conducting the "World Day of Prayer"program for community churches
Enrolling children in the "Children of Covenant" program.
Funding and organizing the church kitchen and helping with fellowship events there.
Collecting brand labels for Rottschafer Day Care Center.
Sending a delegation to the RCA Women's Triennial Retreat.
Faith Care Groups
The goal of the Faith Care Groups is to connect each member of the church with the body of Christ through care, prayer, and fellowship. Care groups lend support to each other in times of need and in times of celebration.
Our Faith congregation is divided into six groups, each of which include an Elder, a deacon, two fellowship leaders and two prayer captains. The prayer captains activate the congregational prayer chain through these groups when special prayer requests are received. Groups may also provide meals, gifts or other support for their members in times of special need like a death in the family or at times of special rejoicing like the arrival of a newborn. Each group also takes turns hosting, baking, and serving at congregational events.
Care Connection
While our care groups seek to nurture the spiritual growth of our congregation, the goal of the Care Connection is discipleship toward all of God’s people in the caring of one another, both within and beyond our immediate fellowship. Its mission is to facilitate the process of connecting those with immediate physical needs with those among us who are able to meet those needs, as we have been commanded.
The objectives of the Care Connection are to:
![]()
Identify needs within our congregation and our community.
Identify and encourage members, care groups, and organizations at Faith who are capable and willing to help fulfill those needs.
Provide support in fulfilling those needs in a receiver-comfortable and Christ-like manner.
When a need is identified, the Care Connection:
Establishes an appropriate point person to communicate with the person or family in need.
Identifies care groups, members, or other organizations who can meet the needs.
Recommend methods to provide assistance.
